Recently, SPM has been certified with the occupational health and safety management systems according to international standard ISO 45001 (UNI ISO 45001:2018).
Even in this very troubled period, characterized by health and economic emergency, the projects for continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence in all business areas are not slowing down.
The ISO 45001 is the first international standard which verifies the implementation of all actions needed to provide a safe and healthy working environment for employees and for all the visitors/guests of the workplace. This important goal is achieved by evaluating and monitoring with appropriate procedures all the factors that could potentially cause accidents and/or work-related illnesses.
The ISO 45001 certification is in addition to those already obtained in the past by SPM, relating to the quality of the processes (ISO 9001) and compliance with environmental regulations (ISO 14001).
Another important milestone is the achievement of ISO 27001 (UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 27001:2017) concerning the management system for information security and privacy. The ISO 27001 standard, even more important now due to the recent events and the intensive use of the web, certifies the implementation of an information security management system that guarantees confidentiality, integrity and availability of data to protect employees, customers and suppliers.
